The foundations of my work
I grew up in Michigan with dirt under my fingernails and a deep respect for nature’s wisdom. From an early age, I was drawn to the body’s innate ability to heal when given the right support. That curiosity eventually led me to earn my Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois - one of only seven federally accredited naturopathic medical schools in North America. Today, I call Coeur d’Alene, Idaho home.
My work is rooted in the foundations of naturopathic medicine, with a focus on classical homeopathy, HeartMath, hydrotherapy, ancestral living, and blood type diet principles. These modalities honor the body’s natural intelligence and its continual movement toward balance, resilience, and vitality. While I am currently completing the licensure process as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor and do not serve as a primary care provider, I bring certification in HeartMath and more than a decade of experience supporting individuals through homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and nutrition in both one-on-one and group settings.
Guided by a vitalistic philosophy, I am passionate about helping people understand why their bodies are expressing imbalance, rather than simply quieting symptoms. My approach is gentle, curious, and deeply individualized. I pride myself on creating care plans based on careful listening, keen observation, and therapies that work in partnership with the bodies of both humans and pets. This means that all care plans include first ensuring a good foundation is created or present, and continually giving you tools to support your resilience through life’s inevitable experiences and seasons.
Outside of work, you’ll most often find me with my canine companion Emi. We love preparing nourishing meals, wandering wild places, backpacking, and harvesting our own wild protein and herbs. These rhythms of living are not separate from my work; they are the soil from which it grows.
