Cell Salts (Tissue Salts)
Carefully selected cell salts are used to gently replenish minerals and support health at the cellular level.
Also known as Schuessler tissue salts, tissue remedies, or biochemic salts, this system was developed in the 19th century by German physician Wilhelm Heinrich Schüssler. His work focused on the idea that subtle imbalances in key mineral salts within our cells can influence overall function and vitality.
There are 12 primary cell salts, each associated with specific tissues and functions in the body, such as nerve health, fluid balance, oxygenation, and structural support. Cell salts are valued for their gentle, accessible nature and are often used as a foundational support, especially when building or restoring the body’s core reserves.
Cell salts are prepared in low homeopathic potencies (most commonly 6X or 12X) allowing them to be easily absorbed and utilized by the body. They differ from homeopathy in that they are used in a more nutritional way because of their cumulative effect.
Cell Salts are traditionally used to:
Support cellular balance and mineral utilization
Address mild deficiencies and functional imbalances
Complement broader wellness protocols without interfering
Gently assist the body’s natural processes without overwhelming it
